ARWA Training Class

Water Utilities Cyber Response Training In partnership with the McCrary Institute and the Alabama Office of Information Technology

This interactive tabletop exercise prepares water and wastewater professionals to respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents such as ransomware attacks, data breaches, and operational disruptions. Through realistic scenarios, participants will practice incident response, strengthen decision-making skills, and develop a baseline incident response plan to improve their utility's cyber resilience and preparedness.

This interactive session provides water and wastewater professionals with practical guidance on cybersecurity compliance, backup and resiliency strategies, recovery planning, risk management, and system monitoring. Participants will work through hands-on exercises focused on compliance controls, recovery planning, and monitoring tools while exploring resources they can use to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of their utility.
