Water Utilities Cyber Response Training In partnership with the McCrary Institute and the Alabama Office of Information Technology

This interactive tabletop exercise prepares water and wastewater professionals to respond effectively to cybersecurity incidents such as ransomware attacks, data breaches, and operational disruptions. Through realistic scenarios, participants will practice incident response, strengthen decision-making skills, and develop a baseline incident response plan to improve their utility's cyber resilience and preparedness.

Cybersecurity Incident Response and Ransomware Preparedness

Operational Technology Security and Incident Response Planning

This session focuses on protecting operational technology (OT) systems critical to water and wastewater operations. Participants will explore strategies for securing remote access and managing vendor connections, participate in a hands-on incident response plan workshop, and develop actionable steps to enhance their organization's cybersecurity readiness. The session concludes with key takeaways, action planning, and an open discussion to address questions and next steps.
