| 01:00 PM | 04:30 PM | Chlorine Operation and Maintenance Participants will learn the role chlorine plays in disinfection, the basic principles of chlorination, and the equipment commonly used for chlorine storage, feed, and control. The session will cover safe operation of chlorination systems, routine inspection and preventive maintenance, proper handling and storage procedures, and methods for identifying and troubleshooting common equipment problems. Participants will also review leak detection and response, emergency procedures, and the importance of maintaining accurate operational records. By the end of the session, participants should have a better understanding of how to operate and maintain chlorine systems safely, reliably, and effectively while supporting proper disinfection and regulatory compliance in both water and wastewater facilities.
